June, 2026: Cyprus Property Sales Hit Record June High

Property sales in Cyprus climbed 27% year on year in June 2026, reaching a record high for the month, according to the Department of Lands and Surveys.

A total of 1,964 property sale contracts were deposited with Land Registry offices during June, up from 1,544 last year. It marks the highest June figure since records began in 2000, reflecting continued demand from both local and foreign buyers.

Limassol recorded the strongest growth, with sales jumping 64%, followed by Paphos (+28%), Nicosia (+10%) and Larnaca (+6%). Famagusta was the only district to post a slight decline, down 1%.

For the first half of 2026, property sales rose 15% year on year to 10,007 contracts, with every district reporting annual growth.
