Cyprus has been recognized as one of the stronger-performing jurisdictions for global wealth mobility in 2026, according to the Henley Private Wealth Migration Report 2026, published by Henley & Partners, a leading international residence and citizenship advisory firm.
The report assesses jurisdictions based on their ability to attract, retain, and support internationally mobile wealth. Singapore leads the rankings with a Wealth Mobility Competitiveness Score of 79.5 out of 100, followed by New Zealand with 75.8.
Cyprus achieves a score of 73.5, placing it among strong performers alongside the Cayman Islands (74.3), the Netherlands (72.8), Portugal (72.5), Italy (72.3), and Bermuda (72.0).
By offering a favorable environment for internationally mobile individuals, families, and businesses, supported by its attractive tax framework, EU access, strategic geographic position at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and well-established legal, financial, and professional services infrastructure, Cyprus continues to strengthen its position as an attractive destination for internationally mobile wealth.
The report also highlights that demand is increasingly focused on residence, wealth structuring, and business activity rather than on citizenship acquisition.
