Property sales in Cyprus continued their strong start to 2026, with sales contracts deposited at Land Registry offices rising by 11% in February compared with the same month in 2025.
Official figures released by the Department of Lands & Surveys show that 1,537 property sale contracts were filed with the Land Registry during February, up from 1,371 in February last year. This month’s total is also just 44 below the highest number of February sales ever recorded, which was 1,581 in 2008.
All districts recorded increases in sales, with the strongest growth in Limassol (+24%) and Paphos (+25%), followed by Famagusta (+14%), Nicosia (+5%) and Larnaca (+2%).
During the first two months of 2026, property sales reached 2,948 contracts, an 11% increase compared with 2,646 during the same period in 2025.
