According to the latest published statistics on Cyprus real estate sales in February, foreigners acquired in total 337 properties, i.e. 13% less than in the same month of 2019.
EU citizens are interested in such areas of Cyprus as Famagusta, Limassol and Larnaca, where real estate sales grew by 133%, 20% and 8%, respectively. Most third-country nationals, similar to Europeans, purchased properties in Famagusta and Larnaca.
In the first two months of 2020, sales to EU citizens fell by 1% compared to the same period last year, whereas, non-EU buyers demand for Cyprus property decreased by 15%.
